Character and Competence...

A competent leader who lacks character is not trusted. A leader of character void of competence is loved, but not followed. Kingdom work requires both. Ministry requires leaders of character, but being in ministry is no excuse for lacking competence.

Sometimes stay.

God sometimes calls us to stay in very difficult situations because He has something greater to do beyond our comfort. Following Jesus means that we give up comfort as the chief concern of our lives.

Power in leadership

When people who possess the right to lead through title also earn the right to lead through trust, then truly effective, moral and legitimate leadership is expressed.
